Bombay by Digidesigned byWilma
Digiridoo Scraps is finally done migrating to the new host. Whew, what a relief!! Unfortunately, my last kit got lost in the transfer, so now I have to check to see if I can still find the .zip files somewhere...
Now I can finally start posting the pages that I have been creating with kits by Digiridoo Scraps designers.
The first one is a beautiful one by Wilma called Bombay.
Here are my pages.

Journaling (in Romanian) says:
Friendship ... is a soul in two bodies. A friend is a wonderful growth buddy,
walking next to you on the road towards our inner truth.
A friend wishes you happiness and the fulfillment of your personal destiny.

Journaling is from a part of 'I wish you love' lyrics by Albert A. Beach
I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss
But more than this
I wish you love
And in July a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health
And more than wealth
I wish you love
I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all
When snowflakes fall
I wish you love

Granny's garden
I just couldn't wait for the outcome of Dani's CT call (anyway, I am pretty sure she has got a gazillion of applications from much better scrappers than I am, so she probably won't have me in her CT), so I went and bought her kit Granny's garden.

Today I took the time to create some pages with it. It was a real pleasure working with it.

Imperfections
For one of the challenges at Scrap Matters we were supposed to create a page about imperfections, flaws or something less than "ideal".
Yesterday evening I finally felt the need to create such a page and I have to say I cried a lot while doing it, because I realized once more that all of my life I have felt imperfect, inadequate, flawed, not good enough, never good enough!
My whole life was a fight to deserve the love of others and if one thing was perfect about me, it was only the mask of perfectionism, the wall of loneliness that I had to build so that nobody should see me for who I was (nota bene, while thinking that I was being who I was, since this is the nature of denial). Whether I was successful at school or failed exams, whether I was slim and gorgeous or fat and depressed, I ALWAYS felt the same: not good enough.
Thinking about that wall reminded me of a very appropriate song by Pink Floyd:
I just hope one day I will really get over all this and be able to really take care of my inner child and nurture her like noone did before, hoping that she can finally heal and be happy.
Here is my page.

"Hush now, baby baby, don't you cry
Momma's gonna make all your nightmares come true
Momma's gonna put all of her fears into you
Momma's gona keep you right here under her wing
She won't let you fly but she might let you sing
Momma's gonna keep baby cozy and warm
Oh babe, oh babe, oh babe,
Of course momma's gonna help build a wall!
... ... ...
Mother, did it need to be so high?"
Momma's gonna make all your nightmares come true

Quiet pond
A while ago I bought this lovely mini-kit by Tiramisu Designs called "Quiet pond". Today I was in the mood to create a page with it. Normally I am too lazy for reflections on my extractions, but today I am pretty satisfied with what I did (a liquified reflection, to match the kit elements).

Little sparrow
I was kind of tired of so much green in my last pages, so today I had the special pleasure of working with my very first kit by Mystique Designs, called Little sparrow. A wonderful kit!!

Life's journey
Today I wanted to create a nice page on friendship for a challenge and chose these cute photos of my son David with his best friend Christoph ;-))
Photoshop templates are not really my favourites, since I create my pages in Wondershare, but I gave it a try and I think the page is not that bad ;-)
