... and another challenge ;-)

I used the beautiful kit Gloomy November by Elisa's Bits (available at Digiridoo Scraps) to create a layout for two challenges: the color challenge at Digiridoo Scraps and the Tourist Trap Photo Challenge at DigiDesign Resort, where we were asked to scrap a photo of a public garden and so I chose the wonderful Blandy's Garden on Madeira, which is so beautiful and huge, that you can spend a whole day there without getting bored for just one second. My husband simply adored it!

Last Kiss of Winter - My first kit at Digiridoo Scraps!

Hey everybody, I told you I was up to something in these last few months... Well, here is the result: I am an apprentice designer with Digiridoo Scraps and today I brought out my very first kit for sale: Last Kiss of Winter.

I am so proud that I could embrace the sky! When I was a child and I used to listen to music together with my father, he told me how sometimes I would say something he thought was very funny and strange at the same time: "Daddy, I like it so much that I feel like scratching the skin on the inside of my head" - well, it describes exactly the way I feel now!

The mommies from the unsernachwuchs forum showed some interest to create pages with my kit, so as soon as I have them, I will post them here too. They are my very first (if amateur ;-))) CT experiment *lol*

Inspiration challenge at Digiridoo Scraps

Normally I'm not very much into photo challenges, but I thought this one was really great, so I made a page with a template by Pene. This is David last summer in Austria, fighting his very first whole apple (and of course he didn't manage to eat it properly ;-))).

DestINY - Charitative collab for Diny

Once upon a time there was a very happy couple. They didn't have a fairy-tale life, one of their four children being too soon diagnosed with a fatal, progressive disease SMA (spinal muscular atrophy), confining her to a wheelchair at age 2 and to constant care (exercise, lifting, positioning in sleep, even sitting, as she is like a rag-doll, limp but lively and bright). It was hard but they had each other to share their fears and hopes, the work and care, the constant love they had for each other. And then the Fate struck again - her innocent husband was killed in a traffic accident. She stayed alone to face and fight her Destiny...

Her virtual friends decided to help her, if not by offering their distant hands, then at least by offering their art to collect some money to patch the most urgent needs of her family, especially the expensive sitting and moving aids for her lovely Klara.

Eleven designers (ad77design, Bohemian Art, Design by Snoopy, Heavens Gate Design, Jk2x, Palvinka designs, PST Designs, Dianne Rigdon Design, Sarahh Graphics, Viky, Zalinka) have joined together to bring you this beautiful kit full of hope. I bought the kit and must say it is absolutely wonderful!!! I will post my layouts on every gallery that I know, hoping that many of you out there will buy it and thus help Diny and her children too!
