More layouts with my kit Fall Harmony

Today I did another layout with my own kit. I think this is the best way to see if it's good, what is missing, what I could improve in my next one (yes, there will be a next one for sure).

This time you are looking at sweet little Alexandra, daughter of my husband's colleagues and our new family friends, Marilena and Adrian. Isn't she just a lovely cutie? And beware, she is a little Scorpio girl (like her parents, like myself ;-)) who knows exactly what she wants.

Fall Harmony - My very first kit!

Hey, I know there are a lot of great designers out there, ok? I can't even think of being able to compete with them. Ever.

... However... for the last couple of months I have often seen something and thought "Hey, that would make a great element" ;-)

Then I started taking various photos of potential "elements" (for instance from my neighbours' gardens or from various shop windows etc.) and then I started downloading lots and lots of brushes to create papers and further elements. For the brushes, again, a big thank you to Obsidian Dawn. For the wave template, a big thank you to Benthai Créations. For the glitter patterns and the wonderful tutorial on how to use them, a big thank you to Creative Dreams.

It looked like the "worm of creation" wouldn't stop bugging me ;-) A few days ago I started to create my own elements and papers and now I may proudly present... my very first kit, Fall Harmony.

I do hope you will like it. I have worked very hard for this and I would really appreciate a little thank you if you download.

** Sorry, links expired **

Here are two layouts that I made with my kit today. Not too bad for a start, isn't it?

If you download the kit, I would love to see your layouts with it, so don't hesitate to send them to me. I will post them all!

Nook Fancy in Childhood Wonderland

Today's playful layout takes us to Childhood Wonderland, where I would love to find a refuge these days and forget all about the worries of the ugly adult world.

Nid d'amour + New Wordart Freebie

Today, for the first time, my son walked without any help!! I am so incredibly happy, it feels like my own personal moon landing!!

So I was in a mood for using one of my own wordarts ;-)

I picked a photo of the two people I love most in this world, used the 2 hours while my son "executed" his afternoon nap and... here is my layout:

And since today it is all about love ;-) I thought I would offer you some more theme-related wordarts. The heart and flower brushes are created by Obsidian Dawn.

I hope you will like them and, as always, would be happy if you could take the time to leave a comment.

Angel of Mine

I have been looking through recent pictures of my son and realized once again how truly blessed I am with such a child. He is perfectly healthy, incredibly bright and stunningly beautiful... There is absolutely nothing more a mother could wish for, except for more sleep at night ;-).

One of his photos inspired me to a small exercise with a kit that I have bought recently.

The circle masks were created by Polarfuchs Treasures, a very inspired and generous designer.

And if you like my wordart, you can have it right away. Just click on the preview and you can download it.

Birdy Party + New Wordart Freebie

Here is a layout that I created today as a sign that I am still not yet ready to accept that summer is gone, even though it has been getting pretty cold lately ;-(

Today I am offering you some wordarts about motherhood. For embellishments a big thanks to purple folie, for the heart-shaped brushes my thanks go to Obsidian Dawn. Check out those links, there are lots of gorgeous freebies there.

I hope you like my wordarts and, as always, I would appreciate your comment when downloading.

Being a grandma

Everybody who knows me will know who Mutti is. For everyone else, a short explanation: she is my ex-husband's mother, I still live in her house with my second husband and our son David and we have a pretty special relationship: despite some minor problems, she is the best grandmother surrogate that a child can have and I am very glad to see how happy David always is around her. I am very sure neither my mother nor Bogdan's would have been such a good grandma for our son.

It will be Mutti's birthday on October 2 and I scrapped a little something for her which I intend to give her in a couple of nice frames.

I hope she will enjoy them. I created them with love and gratefulness.

And now I will share the wordarts with you, I made them in German and in English; the paper is by Verascrap. I hope you will like them and if so, will leave a short comment when downloading.

Not yet autumn!

It's so warm and sunny, I can't accept that the fall has arrived. Not yet! Here is a little something that I scrapped today.

Playing with PS brushes = New Wordart Freebie

Today David slept over 2 hours after lunch, so I had plenty of time ;-) and played a little bit with the PS brushes that I discovered a few days ago. It is so much fun and there is no limit to one's creativity. OK, having boasted enough, here are my very first handwritten and embellished words. I hope you will like them enough to leave me some nice comments when downloading.
